Then you will learn to dance authentic Bachata RAPIDLY with the Black Belt Dance(tm) system of instruction, our friendly instructors and lots of laughs.

WHY LEARN BACHATA?
You can dance Bachata at social Latin Dance parties in Brisbane most nights of the week (Latin dancing parties will often play a ratio of three Salsa songs to two Bachata songs). If you enjoy travelling, Bachata opens up a worldwide network of friends and opportunities. This course will take you from “two left feet” to being able to understand and dance the basics of one of Australia’s most popular Latin dance style anywhere in the world.
No partner? No problem! Couples and singles are welcome. Ages 15+ welcome.

Your instructor will be James Quinn-Hawtin, an experienced and certified instructor with international experience including choreographing for So You Think You Can Dance. James is supported by a large number of student volunteers who generously give up their time to help you through your first classes.

Bring a bottle of water and wear some comfortable clothes (t-shirt, jeans and sneakers are fine).

Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early for each class so that we can start on-time.
Classes are held at our air-conditioned dance studio at 474 Ipswich Road, Annerley.
