Great! You’re perfect for our 4-week Introduction to Latin Dancing course. We start by shifting our weight from one foot to the other. Then you will learn to dance authentic Salsa and Bachata RAPIDLY with the Black Belt Dance(tm) system of instruction, our friendly instructors and lots of laughs.

WHY LEARN SALSA AND BACHATA?
You can dance Salsa and Bachata at social Latin Dance parties in Brisbane EVERY WEEK. If you enjoy travelling, Salsa and Bachata open up a worldwide network of friends and opportunities. This course will take you from “two left feet” to being able to understand and dance the basics of Australia’s two most popular Latin dance styles anywhere in the world.
No partner? No problem! Couples and singles are welcome. Ages 15+ welcome. Our youngest student is 15 years old and our oldest is about 60. Most of our students are around 18 to 35 years old.

Your instructor will be James Quinn-Hawtin, an experienced and certified instructor with international experience including choreographing for So You Think You Can Dance. James is supported by a large number of student volunteers who generously give up their time to help you through your first classes.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring a bottle of water and wear some comfortable clothes (t-shirt, jeans and sneakers are fine).
Four week course. Six hours of instruction in total:
Sunday 20th January 2018 4:15pm – 5:45pm (90 mins)
Sunday 27th January 2018 4:15pm – 5:45pm (90 mins)
Sunday 3rd February 2018 4:15pm – 5:45pm (90 mins)
Sunday 10th February 2018 4:15pm – 5:45pm (90 mins)
Classes are held by Dance Culture in an air-conditioned dance studio at The Works, 19 Burke St, Woolloongabba (southside).
