Timetable

Latest timetable (last updated 19th September 2019)

All classes and activities are now held at our new dance studio at 1st Floor, 474 Ipswich Road, Annerley. As we have only recently moved in we do not yet have building signage. You will find the door for Dance Culture between Yesterday’s Thrift Shop and Vintage Revival.

Our Latin dance classes normally run every week except for Easter Sunday and Christmas. Any other interruptions or exceptions will be announced on this page.

Membership prices have been calculated (discounted) to account for Easter and Christmas interruptions and for the fact that noone can realistically attend every week.

How do students pay?

All enrolments are processed through our secure website (the one you’re on now). The majority of our students first enrol in one of our Introduction courses and then sign up to one of our membership plans if they want to continue onto White Belt level classes.

What is covered by membership?

Our partnered Salsa and Bachata weekly classes are covered by membership. Performance courses and other specialty courses are not covered by membership. Our 4-week Introduction to Latin/Salsa Dancing is the starting point for the vast majority of our students and you can re-do this course for free.

Do I need a partner to join?

You do not need to bring a partner. During class we frequently “rotate” partners so that you will end up dancing with a range of people. This means that, from a social perspective, you will meet a bunch of cool people and, from a learning perspective, you will avoid developing bad habits (which often happens when couples only dance with each other).

Do I need any dance experience to join?

No, you don’t need any dance experience at all. In fact, we have grown a reputation for being an excellent place to get started with Latin dancing.

How do I start?

If you haven’t yet any experience in Salsa or Latin dancing, please enrol in one of the upcoming Introduction courses. If you do already have experience, please contact James to discuss.
